We are excited to announce that Data Incite 2013 will be streamed live for all to view.
To kick off the event, legendary entrepreneur and venture capitalist Vinod Khosla will keynote and share his thoughts on the future of data science. If you’ve been following Vinod lately, at TechCrunch Disrupt, he said that in the next 10 years, data science and software will do more for medicine that all of biological sciences combined.
Directly after Vinod, Gartner VP Merv Adrian will host a panel of thought leaders from some of the world’s most important organizations such as Deborah Hopkins, Citibank’s Chief Innovation Officer and Rowan Chapman, the Head of Diagnostics at GE Healthcare. As two of the world’s biggest corporations, both Citi and GE are investing heavily in data to drive innovation, and Deborah and Rowan will share insights into their organizations Big Data strategies. On the cutting edge research side, UC San Francisco (UCSF) will discuss how they use patient data in order to draw new findings on concussions and traumatic spinal cord and brain injuries. General Peter Chiarelli (ret.), CEO of One Mind for Research and 32nd Vice Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army, will discuss ways in which scientific data can be used to develop new diagnostics, create more effective treatment, and cure diseases.
We hope you can join us!
