You can generally visit our Site without revealing any personal information about yourself. The amount and type of personal information that Ayasdi collects depends on the nature of your interaction with the Site, Software and Services. For example, if you register for an academic license, we will also ask for the name of your academic institution and the purpose for which you will use the Software and Services. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you our Software and Services and we also may continue to retain backup or archival copies of your information made in the normal course of business. Ayasdi will take reasonable steps to ensure that data is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current.
The Federal Trade Commission is the relevant enforcement authority that has jurisdiction over Ayasdi’s compliance with the Privacy Shield. Under certain limited conditions, individuals may invoke binding arbitration before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission’s Privacy Shield Panel.
